Creative Experiences are spread across three categories: Artistic Exploration, Sports Education and Social Awareness.

Performing Arts

Gyananda believes that every child is unique and is talented in their own way and hence it becomes essential to provide an opportunity and a platform to every child to help understand where her interest and talent lies. The Performing Arts Curriculum at Gyananda embraces Indian classical Music, Western music, Dance forms: both Indian and western and Theatre. Distinctive learning as we call it, pushes the students to not only seek excellence in their discipline but also induces them to take time to relax ,pursue and take their creativity to the next level. The school also gauges every child's potential through close observation and assessment program to further encourage their aspirations.

Creative and innovative story telling sessions to transport the young minds to the fantasy land giving opportunities to the students to work on story ideas and weave them into beautiful stories turning them into story writers and story tellers.

Shooting Training

“Everyone has the fire, but the champions know when to ignite the spark.”

Shooting, a competitive and a recreational activity, involves proficiency test of accuracy, patience, concentration and speed. This sport mainly includes the manmade portable guns (short distance gun shooting to the long range shooting arms). Here, at Gyananda School For Girls’, we have started mentoring students in this sport, which includes 10m Air Rifle (Peep Sight) and 10m Air Pistol (Peep Sight). It is an individual sport which starts from the club level and passionate players have the opportunity to reach the international level and the prestigious Olympics.

Focusing on both physical and mental development, shooting is a sport that leads to the holistic well-being of a player. On one hand, the mental benefits of shooting include concentration, focus, building of self-esteem, confidence. One extremely significant but rarely acknowledged benefit of shooting is that it also helps in relieving stress. On the other hand, the sport also requires physical strength. Therefore, we train and encourage students to take keen interest in fitness. We make sure that every student does all sorts of exercises which include core and cardio workout, arm and thigh muscle strengthening exercises and balancing.
