Special needs students will share the communal learning space so that they feel a greater sense of self worth by receiving most of their support(as far as practical) along with all other students of their age group.

Math Lab

Our creative math lab is designed to both put into context and actively promote the three keystones of the National Curriculum: fluency, reasoning and problem solving. It offers Multiple Teaching and Learning Aids as well as a complete theme based ambience which helps students to visualize and feel mathematics.This unique learning and teaching environment includes:

  • Practical fun with numbers and shapes.
  • Understanding of knowledge and shapes.
  • A series of challenging mysteries to engage our students and get them thinking logically.

Science Lab

"Science is FUN"and the school science labs provides an opportunity to make that possible. We have an integrated science for the junior classes and separate science labs for the senior school children, where they experiment, explore and discover.

We provide entertaining, educational and engaging science assemblies to facilitate our aspiring scientists enjoy hands-on science.

Embedded through science lessons are opportunities to use a variety of investigative skills, engaging and becoming more familiar with each element of the scientific method as they progress through the school. These include:

  • Generating their own lines of enquiry
  • Making predictions
  • Analysing results
  • Observing changes over time
  • Collecting results in a variety of ways
  • Drawing conclusions from their observations

ICT Lab

Informed by developments in ICT and best practice nationally, we teach pupils to use their computational and creative thinking to solve problems; to use ICT to communicate effectively and to become digitally literate, preparing them for their future place in the twenty-first-century workplace. The curriculum covers four main strands:

  • To understand inputs and outputs; to understand computer networks, including the internet.
  • How to use appropriate word processing software to create, store, retrieve and manipulate digital content.
  • Children are taught to instinctively apply their digital skills to a range of technology.
  • Children are taught how to be responsible, safe users of technology.
